The course content should already be listed in the order we recommend completing them, starting with the Grammar course. “I am enjoying doing the course. It is very easy to follow and i like that i can retake the quiz at the end of each lesson so that i can learn and correct my mistakes.”

“I am a qualified secondary school teacher and I have been teaching abroad for a number of years now. I recently started the 120 hour TEFL course as I wanted to better my understanding of teaching EAL students. What I really like about the course is that it is in manageable chunks. So if you only have an hour spare one day you can easily cover a few sections. The continuous assessment helps as you never feel overwhelmed with how much information you have to retain at any one time. My only criticism is that the word count for some assignments is really short and I feel that I am sometimes spending longer cutting down the word count than I spent on the assignment itself. I would prefer a 50-100 words for example, rather than saying it has to be 50 words exactly. I like the fact that there are many different teachers explaining things as it stops you getting bored. I also like the fact that there is a written transcript under each explanation. So if I don’t understand I can read about it rather than watching the video again. Overall I was very impressed and I would definitely highly recommend the course.”

“Enjoying the course so far. Interesting topics broken down into management units. I like the balance between use of videos and text. One thing I do like about the start of each video (showing the TEFL Logo as an introduction) is how quick this process is, so it doesn't feel like there is time wasted waiting for the actual video content to start. Happy with the content and online training so far, but only time will tell if completing this qualification will actually result in real teaching opportunities being made available.”

“As someone who has teaching experience, this course is spot on. It incorporates the subject matter knowledge on specific topics but also encompasses teaching methods and styles. The short lessons keep the learning modules fun and easily learnable.”
