“I started my 168hr Level 5 online TEFL course start of January 2022. New Year new possibilities! So far I have found the online course to be well structured and as it is online you can easily do it at your own pace, still bearing in mind I have 6months to do it, however I want to complete it a lot sooner than this. I’ve also found particularly helpful the Facebook online webinars on a Friday and if you miss the time slot you can easily watch it at you own convenience. I would definitely say so far so good and there is also their blog on the website, as well as a forum with other students to discuss topics, their experience of their course etc. Though I must confess that I must do this last option to be even more involved and am really looking forward to obtaining my TEFL Certificate to be able to teach online!”

“So far I've really enjoyed the coursework and really appreciate the asynchronous format. I am currently working as an assistant language teacher with the JET program so being able to work toward TEFL certification between helping with classes has been great. The course material has been extremely helpful for me too in that regard and will no doubt benefit me as I work toward becoming a full-time teacher. As of right now, I cannot think of any real criticisms of the program so far, the only issue I have had is with the website not loading correctly at times. Besides that, I have enjoyed my overall experience. Thanks.”

“Hi Alan, I am really enjoying the course so far, and I am out of my comfort zone but I am learning a lot. I appreciate the good and helpful feedback of my tutor. She is pushing me. I like the platform online. The only thing I struggle with properly is putting my work in the small boxes, where I cannot read what I have written without having to scroll up and down, and when the feedback gets attached at the bottom, it's a rigmarole to see my work plus the feedback. I would appreciate it if there was a different way of doing this. Simply uploading a file would be good. As then i know which version i am submitting. Otherwise I am thoroughly enjoying it. I would like to see more examples of PPPs. I downloaded the lesson plan example, so I would like to see more examples. That would help with learning for me. I am only on unit 3. Long way to go yet. (I did the business English course and passed so that was good too). All the best Catherine”

Before completing your assignments in the boxes, we would recommend completing these as a Word doc before then copying the text into the boxes for submission. Your feedback regarding PPP examples and how the tutor's feedback is provided is certainly appreciated as well, as we will always look for ways of improving our courses further. “Hi Alan! Thank you for you e-mail! I haven't started with the course, yet. I booked it in November, on a "Black Friday" promo, but I knew at that time that I couldn't start it until January.
