“I enjoyed most of this course and feel much more prepared to start my journey of online teaching. It covers a great range of activities. Learning about the history of teaching English and teaching methodology was very interesting. The tutor support is also great, and they provide a lot of useful video observation classes where you can pick up many different teaching techniques.”

“I find the course very informative and helpful in guiding those interested to work as a ESL teacher. Some of the quizzes, I think it would be helpful to have a guide especially those fill in the blanks. It might be difficult for those who are not proficient in English to get all the correct answers or they might not know what's the mistake they made. After the grading of the quiz, a short hint could be shown for those wrong answers allowing the students to better understand what is wrong and how to change it.”

“I am finding the course content comprehensive and interesting. Also, I like that I have the option to revisit the information and revise topics again later if I want- and the quizzes help highlight which areas to focus on. The assignments are allowing me to practice some new skills and get feedback. Overall I'm enjoying the course.”

“Interesting course, however, when moving from the Grammar course to the Methodology course, the latter mentions some areas which were not covered by the Grammar course. While teaching is about practice and student teachers will develop much knowledge and skill over time, based on this very good programme, it would be beneficial to fill in a few more of those gaps that are not currently covered in the Grammar course.”

“I've only done a little bit of the course so far but already I can tell I may struggle, death by PowerPoint, quizzes keep telling me I got the wrong answer even though I've selected the right one, assignments are worded in a way that doesn't make sense even for a native English speaker.”

“The course is very informative but there are many aspects that is not needed or at least can not be learned through theory but something that is more real life and practical”
