Hi Sue, We’re sorry your experience didn’t match your expectations. We normally receive great reviews from our students who have gone on to teach English as a foreign language all around the world. I can see that you chose one of our specialised advanced courses though - so this would assume you already hold a full TEFL qualification. Our courses are competitively priced, and the cost reflects what’s offered. As with most things, you get what you pay for. The key to ensuring you choose the right TEFL Provider is looking at how much independent accreditation they have from recognised bodies. We here at The TEFL Org are the highest accredited TEFL Course provider in the UK and we are independently accredited by the British Accreditation Council, the Open and Distance Learning Quality Council to name but a few. Accreditation is so important. It’s one of the first things employers will check when recruiting and it’s the only way for you to be sure that what a provider is claiming is true.
