“I found it very, personally, out of touch. Perhaps it is because I am of a much younger demographic than what the course is designed to cover - as from completing it gave me the impression that it was targeted towards teachers over the age of 35, who are used to a classroom setting.”

“Some of this module was helpful. However, the live demonstrations were not nearly as helpful as those in the 120 hour verification program.”

“Great course! Really helped me get more ideas on how to make my online classes effortlessly more conversational for my students to get better at their speaking which is what they look for in my teaching. Also gave me great tips on what equipment is recommended for good quality content.”

“The course is really very meticulously prepared. Very informative and guiding from alex , my mentor is also great. However just a minor suggestion during assignment such as the one after completion of the first part where your mentor reviews the submitted assignment, here there could be an option where the student can directly get in touch with the mentor and discuss the assignment should the student need assistance. My mentor was really helpful with the reviews but it would have been great if I could have a one on one discussions with my mentor,as I had a few questions being a first time teacher. But altogether it's a great course. Thank you tefl for your guidance through out.”

“This course was a very good experience! The only thing I would add would be more examples of how to give PPP and Skills classes through the online format. There are a lot of activities that work great for in-person classes. I would have liked to know more in depth how to adapt those to teach online.”

“This course primarily focuses on how to choose an online platform, gives an excellent overview of how to use various platforms, and offers ideas for how to market yourself as an online ESL tutor. I found the video lesson samples using the various online platforms to be the most helpful aspect of this course. It is primarily targeted for those who want to either establish their own online tutoring business or tutor via a larger agency. I think this needs to be stated explicitly, as the title of the course does not really qualify the actual course content. While I was very satisfied with the course itself and what it covered, I was actually surprised, because I thought it would be more about pedagogical content relative to teaching English as a second language.”
