“I purchased this unit for installation in a long galley kitchen using four speakers covering the length of the room. The unit itself fits into a standard double 13amp socket space which makes for a very neat installation in the wall. I also wired in an auxiliary (phono lead) feed to run an iPod classic from a separate audio dock. The sound is good and punchy, though this isn't hi-fi. It's great for my intended purpose, i.e. providing background DAB radio and listening to my digital music collection via the iPod. Volume levels are more than adequate. I can also use my phone to connect via the Bluetooth facility to stream music which I found easy to set up. I also used an external DAB aerial as the LED kitchen bullet lights are notorious for interfering with DAB radio signals and it makes for better reception though the supplied aerial would be adequate in an area with a good digital reception. The speakers have innocuous white grills fitted magnetically and make for a very neat and almost flush installation. All in all an excellent, classy looking system ideal for casual listening in a bathroom or kitchen,”
