Ease Of Installation
Again, great product, great service, prompt delivery and knowledgeable person on the phone who was not at all pushy but was keen to help, even though my order was not the largest order financially. Five stars again all round.

Easy to install and doesn't interfere with the sound quality.

Doesn’t seem like good value for money really... only just fitted my 8” ceiling speakers and one of the hoods had a small hole in it. Even though they are circular at the top, they’re stitched in a way that almost forms a square shape at the bottom, this made installation more tricky in my case. They’re also a weird aspect ratio, way taller than they are wide. Not that it’s a massive problem but I’m probably using less than half the height. They just about do the job, but I think I’d have been happy if they cost £10 each, but at over £25 each they’re a bit of a ripoff (for a few small pieces of fire blanket stitched together)

Hi Will, thanks for leaving an honest review, speaker fire hoods are designed to be tall to accommodate varying speaker depths and they all should have a small hole for cable entry (if it's not the cable entry hole then please let me know and we'd be happy to replace it for you). We would love to be able to sell them cheaper but unfortunately with the fire rated materials and extensive testing required to meet building regulations it's not really possible to get them any cheaper without cutting corners, we keep looking but these are the best quality to price we've found. They are square at the bottom because most ceiling speakers have spin out dog legs so being square gives room for these in four "corners". But I agree fitting 8" speakers into them isn't the easiest of tasks! Kind Regards, Craig.
