“Shower been installed a month now. Only had to alter factory heat settings slightly which was easy to do once installed as needed it hotter for us.
Very happy with Bristan for look, great value for such a good quality name and product.

“This valve in itself is great. I've been using products from this range at home and in a rental property for over 20 years and have found them to be reliable and durable.
However, this version of the 1901 exposed valve has a considerably smaller diameter than one I installed 15 years ago, so when I came to replace it, the screw holes for the original baseplate not only didn't match the new baseplate, they fall OUTSIDE THE BODY of the new valve, meaning they are left exposed after replacement.
I get that manufacturers want to continually improve their designs, but I find this failure to consider the effect of reducing the size of the valve body, whilst naming the product the same as the original, extremely disappointing and frustrating.”
