“I wanted to replace an old cast iron siphon bakelite cistern with another jigh-level cistern and found the Dudley version. Despite the seemingly high price it fitted perfectly into the space occupied by the old cistern, so no plumbing was required, saving both time and effort. High level flushing seems more economical on water given the kinetic energy of the water entering the bowl - anyway just a thought!”
