Bone Broth - Build a bundle Reviews

We use a lot of bouillon for soups and some sauces as well. You always need to dilute and was curious to try different alternatives which doesn't contain as much salt. Takes some used to it to know to begin with how much I should add to the soup/sauce, instead of bouillon. The box arrived with 3 x 500ml carton in it, like juice cartons. It opens with a lid, but I must say I was struggling a bit to open as it's closed very tightly. Even once the bottle was already open, was still hard to open again. For this, who suffer with weak arms or have muscle issues, I wouldn't recommend this product. All of them is 100% natural.Vegetable - Made from vegetables and herbs . This stock contains no seasoning, just a natural vegetable juice basically, for that is gluten and dairy free.Chicken Made from herbs, vegetable and meaty chicken bones what have been simmered. Won the Great taste award in 2020Beef- Made from herbs, vegetable and meaty beef bones what have been simmeredThe cartons are widely recyclable as well. It has a very long shelf life of 14 month, which is great. But once it's open, the instruction on the bottle is to consume within 4 days and keep it in the fridge. Currently it's just over 6.50/pack and I find slightly high, especially as one of them is purely just vegetable stock made from ordinary vegetables.

Bone broth has many health benefits that I was not aware of before. My mother introduced me to it a few months ago because I am suffering with fibromyalgia and IBS. At first I thought yuck but I really wanted to feel better, so I tried it and I was pleasantly surprised, it just tastes like watery gravy, and is actually quite tasty. It helps my IBS a lot and helps me go to the toilet. These products are a great way of getting vital vitamins into you and detoxing your body. They are very good for gut health. The ingredients in there cartons and all natural and free from any nasties! I tend to dilute a small amount in hot water and store the rest in the fridge for the next day. I love the three different flavours, and was very pleased so see there is even a vegan option. Great product

These broths are delicious, my favourite was the beef one which had a nice meaty flavour and tasted yummy. You get 3 in a pack and each one carries 500ml : 1 Chicken, 1 Vegetable and 1 Beef, the broth is 100% natural, Gluten and Diary Free. There are so many uses for them from adding to stews, gravy, mashed potatoes, sauces or just enjoy them as a delicious drink. Handy to have on hand when needed in the cupboard.

I was surprised to see that the packaging recommends these stock portions as a drink, but it really does work. The vegetable one was delicious as a cold savoury drink, not too salty, a good blend of subtle flavours leaving a very slight hint of 'onion breath', but thoroughly enjoyable. The Beef one, I struggled a little to drink this cold from the container as I felt it left a bit of a greasy residue inside my mouth, so with this one I tried adding it to some pre-cooked puy lentils in a bowl and microwaving it, along with pouring the remainder into a mug and microwaving that too. It really came alive when warmed up. It lifted the lentils significantly, and was a really pleasant warming drink. The only thing I'm not convinced on is the price, which 'feels' really high. I'm completely on board with the story that the packaging is selling me, that the product is well made, not from concentrate and having a pro-nature branding, so it's up to you to decide if the cost is excessive or one you're willing to pay. It's a brave move.

As someone who typically uses a powder based stock and definitely doesn't spend the time to make my own, I was intrigued to see what the difference would be in buying these liquid ones. With a possibility to enjoy on it's own (as a broth) or in cooking - I checked them out to see how they would stand up.First impressions were good as the packets they come in are similar to many juices - so can be closed and refrigerated between uses if needed. The broth itself is the thickness I expected, relatively thin but despite this still manages to be packed with loads of flavour. Unlike others I've tried you can definitely tell the difference and make out the distinct flavours of all three types.Overall then you've got a stock with plenty of flavour to be enjoyed on its own or as part of cooking.
