I used this to make a risotto which turned out very well. The cartons mean space is well used in your cupboard plus the long shelf life of 18 months is reassuring.

I usually use organic stock cubes but was excited to try this as it's much cleaner in terms of ingredients. The ingredients are so simple, just vegetables, herbs and salt - much better than the palm oil and potato starch in my usual brand of stock cubes. I like that these are such easy, convenient cartons too - quite small, but they're perfect for soup or stews. When I followed a more keto diet, I used to use veg bouillon to get my salt up, and I imagine this would be a perfect, cleaner version of that, if you wanted to drink it as a hot beverage (I've not tried that myself yet). It's quite expensive but I appreciate how good the ingredients and recipe is - it's so nice to find a product that I can buy in bulk for my food cupboard, with the same qualities as purchasing fresh broth.

Great flavour. Simple to use, just twist to open and pour into w/e you're preparing. It's vegan & dairy/gluten free too. It is expensive but it beats the supermarket stuff

This is an extremely flexible stock which is gluten free and vegan. It's ingredients include onion, carrot, leek, parsnip, white cabbage, parsley root, tomato, salt, garlic, thyme, lovage and bay leaf. These are simmered for 7 hours and then ready for adding to your recipe.I tried this in a chicken casserole, with roasted veg as a thick soup and then some as a late night cup soup. Very easy and tastes great.Looking at the preparation and list of ingredients, I can understand the price point. It's just so delicious and full of great veg.My next use is with shepherds pie in the slow cooker.Overall a superb product that tastes just amazing.

The taste of this broth is delicious. I have tried it by itself without adding anything into it; it tastes OK! But when my wife makes a vegetable soup using the broth, it tastes delicious!I like that it is gluten and dairy-free, so it is suitable for me as I am lactose intolerant. Also good to know that it is suitable for vegans as well.It comes in a suitable quality carton, and the top lid is very secure to keep the broth fresh. The expiry date is long enough to store it outside at room temperature if it's not opened. You are looking at £36.99 for a pack of 6 ( on 18/03/2021 ), which is very expensive, but I think this broth worth extra money compare to quality and taste.I hope this review is helpful for you to make a purchasing decision.

You can unscrew the cap and just drink this. It's okay. The taste is adequate.Once opened, you should put it in the fridge (you can keep in the cupboard until then) and you should then finish it within 4 days.

I was initially amused to see that one of the suggested uses for this stock was as a drink neat, but after trying it I'm a convert - it works really well. It's especially good on a cold winter day as it's warming, light and savoury. Unlike the meat version of this it doesn't leave a slight fatty film in your mouth either. The flavours are relatively light and delicious, with a strong undertone of onion that leaves you with a slight 'onion breath', but it's well worth it. I've used it mainly as an cooking additive for turning lentils into a stewy broth. It seems really versatile so far.
