“Swiss Army knives were so valued when I was a child, I thought it would make a great birthday present for my 8 year old grandson. Am told he loved it, but of course was not allowed to visit to see for myself”

“The usual high standard of build.I like the Wenger style of scissors,pliers and spanner(no springs to lose),married to the victorinox style of can opener and awl.It is a bit too wide ,due to the large plastic insert which holds the compass(I feel this should be in a separate housing on a sheath).However,this knife has everything that is useful from the Wenger and Victorinox designs,inc the saw,file-hacksaw,locking main bladeAND a separate nailfile/cleaner!This,the Swisschamp,and the Workchamp are the three best knives in the catalogue.I have all three and this is the one I will have in my carrykit.”
