“Great bit of home kit, the bench is light enough for manoeuvrability but really sturdy At the same time. I’m 17st and lifting 40 kg dumbbells doesn’t affect the bench at all. The service provided was excellent, next day delivery and all this at lockdown too. Overall very happy with both product and Sweatband.com”

“I brought this bench to train at home during the lockdown. I normally train at a high end gym and to be honest, I wasn’t expecting this bench to be perfect. I was actually quite impressed. For the price it’s quite sturdy and stable. It was also very easy to assemble. The bench has one fundamental flaw. The pivot point for the rear back rest, where you raise and lower the angle is too close to the top of the padding. This means when you lay back the large metal plate digs into your back. It’s especially bad when you lay back with a heavy weight. I had to modify the bench to make it usable. Two other minor flaws. The angles of the backrest feel like they could use a position intermediate to the ones available, especially between the 90 degree and the next one down. Secondly the wheels on the back that allow easier movement of the bench are still slightly in contact with the floor when assembled so the bench moves back more easily than it should.”

“Chose this bench because it was available and although not my first choice it is a robust sturdy product , which is easy to assemble and it provides sufficient stability to support my body weight 100KG and 50KG dumbells even though this is at the top of the stated limit. Good product definately pleased with the purchase.”

“Nice little bench, only thing that lets it down is the join between the seat and back rest, the metal in the middle, hurts when you sit down, you do have to be carefull when you sit”

“A solid piece of equipment. The weldings on the metalwork are strong, the stitching on the material is first rate. The product is absolutely first class. With regards to service; Sweatband were great to deal with and appear to be getting a good volume of scarce equipment into their store for customers during these challenging times.”
