“Courier dropped the exercise bike outside my front door and did not bother to ring my doorbell. No written instructions only diagrams. LH pedal has to be attached anticlockwise no written instruction to inform this requirement. No u tube instruction about how to set up bike. Took 2 hours to set up thankfully provided on the phone by the company. Bike very well constructed and works well so would recommend its purchase.”

“Can't comment on durability at this early stage. Seems a well designed, well-made bike. Personally I don't like the console. It is too unwieldy, cluttered and complex. All I wanted was easily adjustable resistance equating to gears on a normal bike, time, and perhaps speed but not all the other stuff and the merry-go-round of setting it all. I can understand people wanting the pulse checker, although I don't have a lot of confidence in it or use for it.”

“This was my second purchase of this exercise bike. I bought the first one in October 2018 and used it extensively since I got it. My wife and son are also regular users of the bike. The motor that controls the magnet started playing up and eventually it didn't perform as it should. I decided to cut my losses and buy a new exercise bike. Amazingly the DKN AM-E is still one of the best bikes out there and equally amazingly it cost £17 less than I paid in 2018, and even then I got it at a discounted price. I set up the new bike in about half an hour (mind you I had done it before) and it is working great. I had forgotten how quiet the bike is as the motor on my old one had become a little noisy. I highly recommend this model for its advanced functionality and reliability. My experience with Sweatband was equally excellent. I ordered my bike on 28th December, expecting delivery by 6th January. My bike arrived on the 30th December just two days after placing my order. That is excellent service by anybody's standards. I will definitely shop there again.”

“Arrived within 36 hours packed very securely. Took my time but it was easy to assemble and all the tools necessary were provided and good quality. The bike seems sturdy, well made and nice design. You can freewheel which is very important to me. I had narrowed my search down to this and one other but I discovered the other bike was fixed gear which is not acceptable at all to me so it had to be this one. It took me a while to suss out how to apply the programming etc. so the manual could be a little bit more comprehensive IMO. It's very early days so my only major concern now is durability and possible maintenance and spare parts as is often the case with modern stuff as costly as this. Can't compare with others as this is my first but I am pleased with my diligent research and choice. so far.”

“Although I initially had issues with a couple of damaged parts when the machine was originally delivered, the guys and girls at DKN were most helpful and sent new pieces through the post. I've now used this exercise bike a number of times and must confess I would have loved a small tray (so that I could place my phone in [for music purposes etc]). Having said that. this is a quiet machine when in use. I would recommend this machine as it enables the user to exercise (obviously) and also monitors pulse rate.”
