“The experience of the board game feels like playing the videogame in many ways. It is funny and people who does not play the videogame probably enjoy the experience of playing this in a board game. I am playing this with friends every Friday to advance on the campaign and we are very exited to follow up. Hope I can get the second core so I complete all the weapons. The only critique, models where you have to connect pieces like Rathalos should have more quality control, I don't mind that much but it should come in a way it fits or someone should really care about bringing that as that is an important piece on this product in my opinion.”

“This game has been 'as advertised' and more! All the parts and creature models are well made and sturdy. Gameplay is awesome whether by myself or with friends. Highly recommend!”

“Fun for all adventurers! Deck building campaign is something I have never heard of before, but this is the staple from here on out! The difficulty scale, the customization, and the detailed minis and flavor just adds to the quality of this product. LOVE LOVE LOVE, can’t wait for Iceborn to release!!!”

“This is a good game for sure. I've been playing it a lot since I got it. The reason I give it a 4 and not a 5 is that there are situations more often than I like that isnt clearly covered by any rules and have to be houseruled on the fly. Besides that though I'm a huge fan.”

“Excellent boardgame adaptatie of the feeling I get when playing the videogame. The models are amazing. Two minor points should be the balance of the stamina board (it clocks pretty quick, but I think its resolved in the Iceborn version) and the bases of the miniatures. I would have preferred textured bases and another way of showing the arcs on the monsters. Overall a great game!”

“First when you open the box the display is nicely organized. The models are some of the most superior in board games. I'm a sucker for MHW and these models are nicely made. Hefty weight with no mold lines. The cardboard cut outs are nice and thick. Overall the quality is fantastic. I've played a few games so far. It's everything you want translated from the video games series. I haven't delved to deep into gameplay yet, but the rules are understandable. Also the scale of the models for rpg games is perfect for 1x1 squares.”
