“This is a very polished product. I especially loved the pre-written scenarios in the book. I would have liked more information about other places in the DS universe as the book felt a little short (but the price was excellent). Overall, if you like the Dark Souls rpg, get this book”

“The tome sets out most of the original settings from the dark souls 1 though the lack of maps for each area is a big let down. There also seems to be missing the entry for the painted world which I find suprising. The adventures provided are mixed at best. The first seems well planned out depsite a copy paste error half way through with regards to a tree encounter. The final area which has feel similar to the mansion from the original resident evil. The second adventure seems very lack luster and will need extra input from the DM. The extra character options and entry for the pursuer however do help prop the book up. Overall the tome is ok but there is alot that could be improved upon and no where near the disaster thatuwas the original release.”

“As I'm a hardcore Dark Souls fan, this book is worth the money. Few typos, but nothing I can't overlook, considering the fangirling. 10/10 and can't wait for volume 2.”

“Have only read through some of this book so far. I have not yet used it for our campaign but I have some stuff tagged to write up for some adventures. Locations and encounters are nicely detailed. Some new classes, gear and bosses are added in this book. There's a nice how-to section in Chapter IV. I'm loving these books. Very challenging adventures, feels like the soul crushing video game.”
