“This is an excellent product which I have used before and highly recommend. Ten bags were needed on some bad potholes in the road to our farm. Loosen up any debris in the hole and clear it out. Try to make a good edge around the outside. I found a leaf blower ideal to clean it out. Spray around the edge with Bitumen Joint Sealer, sprinkle from a watering can, add the Viafix levelling to a little above the surrounding road making sure the edges are neat. Sprinkle liberally with water before and after compacting. Use a hand ramming tool for small holes or in my case a plate compacter worked well for larger ones. Job done. You can drive over it straight away, but it does harden a little more after a day or so. Although not cheap, this stuff really does work and even thin layers stay secure. Good preparation is the key.”
