“The Virtual Monitoring Add-on is so good! The virtual monitoring environment, paired with headphone calibrations really sound like the real thing: car1 in the translation option of the software sounds like my wife’s compact, and car 3 sounds like my truck. Very useful! Those pesky low mids crowding the space making everything sound muddy can be easily pin-pointed with the aid of this translation check and things just sound clean.

“The virtual monitoring add-on is helpful in mixing. I have done one mix so far using it. I had tried some other software earlier and was a bit skeptical to begin with. I discovered that I got used to it relatively fast and more or less forgot about it and continued mixing. I noticed that the near field helped to set voice level.
The mid field sounds a bit like my monitors and the far fields was helpful for setting bass level. The result translated quite well to other listening environments so I am pretty satisfied with the add on.”

“This is a great addition to the SoundID line. It integrates smoothly into the existing SoundID Reference product, and can be quickly toggled on and off for easy sonic comparisons. I like the multiple speaker and translation options that are quickly accessible. I am still in the process of comparing this new product with some existing ones such as Waves NX and Slate VMX, but my early feedback is that the SoundID add-on gives me comparable results and a more integrated workflow.”
