“Some crossfeed, distance, and angle control sliders would be great. The frequency response discrepancies between monitors is a little drastic but it could be argued that it is the point.”
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out!
I appreciate your feedback and I will forward it to our product team. It would indeed be nice to add some more customisability options within SoundID Measure.
Thank you for the review!
“The Sonarworks Virtual monitoring add-on is a must when you do not have access to speakers or if you have irritable neighbours. It sounds pretty much like if you were in a half acoustically treated room, giving the best speaker impersonation I've ever heard for headphones.
My nights would be way less productive without it (my problem are the neighbours :), and when monitors become available or usable without annoying anyone, a mix will often compares favorably to my Yamaha HS8s monitors. Buy it because for the price, It's simply a no-brainer. :)”
“This product was very much a lightbulb moment for me.
I had never stopped to consider that mixing in headphones meant that if something was panned to the left or right, the opposite ear was hearing nothing...and that is not how things work or sound with a speaker setup. Virtual Monitoring replicates how things will sound on speakers, but in your headphones. it's a simple concept, but it blew my mind at the time. Highly recommend it if you mix in headphones and want to ensure things translate to speakers properly!”
“Well, what a great tool , this made all the difference to my mixed and mastered tracks , this is a perfect example of serious work craft with one goal in mind,
Perfection and it delivers”
“With Sound ID Reference Virtual Monitoring, crossover, high end-vs- low end balance, etc issues that can't be tackled by headphone separation are tamed. Gone are the days of jumping to small speakers and larger monitors to see if I got things right. I use Virtual Monitoring as a default for Amazon Music and my work Zoom calls too as it sounds superior in all things audio.
Thanks aplenty!”
