Works really great on mid and far range, still trying to figure out the system but so far so good

Only used occasionally, but the add-on appears fairly complementary to the main software.

I bought the virtual add on and it is difficult to use. I haven’t figured out how the sound translates. I had a good workflow with another sonar works product but haven’t found a good use for the virtual add on yet. TBD

It really changes the way you listen to your mixes, cause in a real Monitoring Situation you will.hear both of your speakers and not only one stereo side, like with a real headphone. This helps to get another point of view for your mixes.

Sonarworks Sound ID Reference helped me a lot to produce better mixes. WIth the new Virtual Monitoring Add-on for headphones I am the first time able to mix properly with headphones. Compared to other solutions from manufactors like Waves (NX) or Lewitt (Space replicator) it's the best solution so far I'm concerned. Thumbs up!

It is easy and sounds good. I like the fact that you have three options (virtual speakers) and not 50 different studios with different monitors. The tv, cellphone and laptop options are also very useful. It helps your workflow.

I use the virtual room 99% of the time when mixing on headphones. It gives the feeling of hearing the image center from the front instead of inside your head. It also provides a sense of space (that is a bit overdone to my taste, but not as artificial as other products I tried) I stopped using Can Opener for this reason. The add-on blurs the details on the high end though. And I would love to see additional speakers like auratones in the virtual room. Recommended.
