I love being able to quickly place my mix in real-life situations and quickly A/B different environments.

The SoundID Reference Virtual Monitoring Add-On has been a game changer for my workflow. Even without the full software, the virtual monitoring feature allows me to simulate different studio environments directly in my headphones. This add-on provides an incredibly realistic sense of space, making it easier to fine-tune my mixes without needing access to a treated room. It's an efficient and practical solution for anyone who wants to improve their monitoring capabilities on the go or in less-than-ideal environments.

I need to get used to it maybe, but adjusting the frequency response to the selected model sounds so fake sometimes.

I have used several virtual monitoring room emulations from other developers. And I was always very dissapointed in the results until I tried the Sonarworks version. I am a professional audio mix engineer and have worked in a lot of studios in LA and Vegas, I know what to listen for. Sonarworks is acurate on all three monitor types. It is my go to virtual monitor from here on in! Great job Sonarworks!

The same old question… how will the mix sound in other environments. No time for guessing… here we have an 'equivalent' that saves a lot of time, anxiety and expense. I have found it to be acurate enough for my mixes to allow me to approach Mastering with real confidence. I think that's a real game-changer for us all.
