The virtual monitoring add-on is so nice to have that extra resource available to reference well done.

It sounds nice and convincing. I wish there was more room simulations but it works flawlessly

It seems like a good product to me. I would have liked profiling from various professional recording studios, rather than a generic one. I'm never sure whether this listening experience is accurate for master mixes. I notice that different headphones, even when profiled, don't sound the same, and this makes me think there's no real linearization taking place. At least that's the impression. Overall, however, the sound is more balanced, and above all, you don't have the isolation of headphone listening.

The SoundID Reference Virtual Monitoring Add-On is a very nice feature, as it mimics different sound environments in which your mixes can be monitored. In fact, you get the possibility to verify if your mixes still translate while being played back under total different acoustic conditions. If they still sound nice, you can be sure your mixes are ready to be distributed.

After calibrating my room and setting everything up, my monitoring became noticeably more accurate and reliable. It’s now much easier to make confident mixing and mastering decisions, and my mixes translate far better across different playback systems. The headphone calibration has also been a huge benefit, allowing me to work confidently even when I’m away from my studio. Apollo Monitor Correction integrates seamlessly into my workflow. Having monitor correction handled directly through Apollo means I don’t need to insert correction plugins into every project, making the entire process clean, transparent, and distraction-free. I also really appreciate Virtual Monitoring. Being able to instantly check how my mixes translate across different listening environments is an invaluable feature during the final stages of production. It gives me much greater confidence before releasing a track.

Nothing beats the real thing of course, but this thing gets you close. Good for quickly getting an idea of how it would sound like on speakers.

It works well, it's a nice addition and I've been comparing it to vsx. My only complaint right now is that it's confusing to enable/disable
