“The new features in SoundID are fantastic, but the reason i'm only giving 2 stars is that currently the product is simply unusable for me.
There is this annoying crackling sound occuring very frequently when using the system wide app. I've tried switching the sample size from 44.1Khz to 48Khz, and tried different Buffer sizes ranging from 256 -> 1024. I have also tried different drive configurations but nothing seems to fix the problem.
In DAW this does not happen. For system wide i still have to use Reference 4 because that does not have this problem.”
“Awesome to finally get to review your mix on different "sound systems" with the SoundID Reference. I place my whole confidence in that Reference will give me the flattest response curve and afterwards I can check my mixes as if I was in a car, or how it's on a TV. Awesome program!”
