I have been using the headphone version for a year... and that has helped give me more confidence with my mixes. But wow... the Sound ID speaker version takes it to another level. I wish I had upgraded earlier. Thanks for a great product.

Upgraded from Sonarworks Reference 4 Headphone to SoundID Reference for Headphones. Great piece of software for calibrating your headphones (available for studio monitors as well). The new listening environments make it even more useful, as now I don't have to leave the house to do a 'car test'. As I use headphones on this PC almost 100% of the time, I use systemwide (via WASAPI) instead of using the plugin in my DAW (Reaper), as it just makes everything sound the same without having to alter the preferences in each program. Happy days...

Reference for is great, but SoundID is even better. Like to have my own curves, and a set of standard target curves.

Reference 4 behaved a bit odd in Win10 and now this new SoundID works like a charm. I am satisfied with the upgrade I've made because it cost not that much and I like all the new functions but if I could get Reference 4 working smooth I probably wouldn't have upgraded, this soon at least.

After several years using the Reference 3 plugin I decided it's time to upgrade! It all started when I was looking for a new pair of headphones. I read a lot and watched reviews and listened to so many professionals' suggestions and it made my head spin. It seemed to me that buying a new pair of headphones isn't an easy task anymore (given my knowledge of these several years). I have heard so many conflicting appraisals which led me into such a colossal confusion. Several days after the beginning of this "headphones hunt" it just occurred to me that I might have a secret weapon. I could use my Reference 3 plugin to look at spectrum curves and learn which headphone is the most natural! Launching the software I thought to myself "well I have a few models in mind" (based on 3rd party suggestions) let's test them! Unfortunately I realized that my Reference 3 software was a bit old and did not contain many of the headphones models I wanted to test. Swiftly I jumped on the internet and gave my old pals Sonarwork a visit, so pleased to learn that there were new products(!) I was even more pleased that Sonarworks offered a discount price for upgrading my old Reference 3 to the brand new SoundID Reference for Headphones. Automatically I made the purchase and yet again, mind blown! Set on the software for a couple of hours, reading reviews and looking at the curves I finally made a desicion! So yes, upgrading the software helped me from several angles and using it in conjunction with my new headphones is just incredible! Would recommend it any day of the week!

Getting corrupt profile when switching from monitors to headphones sometimes. Have to recreate the headphone profile.
