Very easy to use with walkthrough processes included in the software. I’m able to measure more accurately with the measurement microphone and I’m able to save my own profiles based on those measurements.

Used it to calibrate several headphones and my studio speakers. Finally found the way to have the most neutral monitor experiencing PLUS getting rid of some additional interferences my studio has. I can only recommend this great tool! The shipping for the microphone was super fast too!

I recently had the pleasure of trying out Sonarworks SoundID Reference, and I must say, it's truly a game-changer for audio enthusiasts and professionals alike. This software has a lot to offer, making it a valuable tool for achieving optimal sound quality in various listening environments. One of the standout features of SoundID Reference is its extensive library of more than 400 equalization profiles designed for a wide range of headphone models. This level of customization is a real boon for those who are particular about their audio experience. Whether you're using studio monitors or consumer-grade headphones, the software ensures that you're getting the most accurate and balanced sound possible. The ease with which you can select and apply these profiles is truly remarkable and speaks to the user-friendly design of the software. The speaker calibration feature is another feather in SoundID Reference's cap. The simplicity of the calibration process is something that users of all experience levels will appreciate. Achieving accurate sound reproduction in your listening environment is crucial, and SoundID Reference simplifies this process considerably. The result? A more refined and hi-fi listening experience that truly elevates the quality of your audio. Speaking of audio quality, SoundID Reference's impact on sound fidelity is remarkable. The software's ability to compensate for various acoustic deficiencies in headphones and speakers makes a noticeable difference. The end result is a richer, more detailed audio experience that brings out the subtleties in music, dialogue, and other audio content. This alone is reason enough for audio enthusiasts to give SoundID Reference a try. However, it's important to note that there is a lag when applying any setting within the software. This lag can impact the efficiency of your workflow, especially when making real-time adjustments or quick comparisons. Additionally, there are a few notable headphone models absent from the library of equalization profiles. Expanding this selection would undoubtedly enhance the software's appeal even further. In conclusion, Sonarworks SoundID Reference is a powerful tool that can significantly enhance your audio experience. Its vast collection of equalization profiles for various headphone models, easy-to-use speaker calibration, and overall sound improvement capabilities are impressive. While the software's positive aspects are undeniable, the presence of lag for all settings is a noteworthy drawback. Coupled with some missing headphone models, it's important to weigh these considerations against the benefits when deciding if SoundID Reference is the right fit for your audio needs.
