It's amazing for home studio, because you have always frequencies which are too loud or too less. With SoundIDReference you know what the song sounds in real.

Unfortunately, I couldn't run the calibration software yet, but from what I've seen, it's the most intuitive thing ever, and I am sure it will be very easy to get it up and running in no time. I've used the SoundID Reference for Headphones extensively, and it's extremely user-friendly and what I consider to be one of my best purchases when it comes to music production and mixing. I would go as far as to say that any producer who wants to take their music seriously should buy some version of StudioID, but preferably the Speakers & Headphones for a more complete solution. I am also really looking forward to buying a pair of calibrated headphones in the future, and see how they compare to uncalibrated ones.

I am truly amazed by what reference ID did to my listening experience. I have an acoustically treated room. After installing the reference ID and measuring the room with the Sonarworks microphone, which has clear and easy-to-follow instructions, I can now feel a much more balanced experience- from a frequencies point of view, and also phase correction between the monitors. And also when listening to reference tracks everything seems much more focused and clear.

I have good studio monitors and studio headphones in a relatively small home studio space. I bought Sonarworks SoundID primarily to calibrate my monitors in this space. The added bonus was the headphones. My headphones are a fairly new product but there is a patch for them in SoundID. I was chuffed about that. The calibration is easy to do and reliable. I love the fact that the is different target options and the custom one is great. Being able to limit the frequency response area is an excellent option. Setting up your different speakers and headphones as presets makes switching very easy. I think this is a well thought out and very usable product. I am as pleased as Punch with the purchase.

I’ve been struggling with my monitoring setup for a while. Unfortunately, all I’m working with at the moment is headphones and a cheap sound card which in conjunction sound pretty harsh at times, especially in the high and mid range. I started noticing that all the presets sounded like they are poor quality, which is when I decided to try out SoundID for headphones. When I first used it, I was shocked, the harsh sounds were no longer harsh and the bass that used to hurt my ears was all of a sudden mild and pleasant to the ear. Also, I noticed that my mixes started translating much better between different devices eg phone car etc.
