This is the best of both worlds. Whether you like to mix with headphones or love to use your monitors, this package will ensure that which ever device you choose, the mixes will translate. With ease I found myself calibrating both my headphones and monitors to the SoundID software. With few clicks, I am able to get a sound profile, the NS11’s or mix cubes’ tonal frequency, to listen to the mix from a new perspective. For what SoundID comes with, not only creating a flat mix response, but also features different scenes ranging from small speakers all the way to monitor speakers. The best part of SoundID is that you use what you have. No other equipment is needed. And that gives me confidence with my mixes.

Calibration of my old HS50M monitors reduced some issues I had with my room very noticeably. Also pleased with headphone calibration (DT880 Pro, DT770 Pro and AKG K-712 Pro). Would be nice to have a more flexible EQ for custom curves, as would be the possibility to rearrange created presets by drag-and-drop (right now, presets stay ordered by creation date, and there is no easy way to reorganize them).

Reference is a very interesting product and, even if it doesn't do miracles, it helps a lot with the listening experience in rooms that aren't suited for that. The calibration software also has a great tutorial and it's really easy to use.

I live in Thailand I ordered a bundle that included a microphone, headphones, and Vitual Mornitoring. The shipping surprised me. It only took a few days for the item to be delivered to me. At first I thought It might be difficult to use from just reading on the web. But when we actually put it into practice, we found that it was incredibly easy to use. And I tried it with my headphones (Dt1770, 1990). It's so powerful you won't believe how it's done. It made me think at first that my headphones were flat enough, but when I pressed enable, it dawned on me that my ears weren't flat at all. And when I opened Visual Monitor, it surprised me again. I find it very similar to using speakers (I'm using focal Evo 65 speakers right now). I work in areas where the speakers can't be turned on all the time. This tool makes me very happy. I felt right in purchasing it. Now I can mix and master my songs without having to be in front of the speakers all the time. Because I can do it in my headphones, yay! It's really great. I would recommend everyone who is hesitating to give it a try. And you guys won't be disappointed. (Sorry if my English is not very good)

I hate to say that, but SoundID Reference is a must. You spend probably a lot of money and time in ameliorating the acoustics of your room but there is definitely an extra percentage where things sound better. And that’s with SoundID Reference.

The technology works very well now with the added customization options, and the Multichannel measuring process is a marvel of efficiency. I would still like some added customization options for those of us who are prone to tweaking and optimizing (and have some acoustics background), but it is a great and easy to use product as it is now.

Again, fantastic software. I use both the plug ins and standalone for system wide audio.
