This software is a no-brainer if you're serious about making music. It was easy to set up and get going - I just put in my headphone model and the software automatically calibrated the sound to create a flat frequency response. There's ample documentation and helpful videos if you have serious questions about how to use this. It was pretty easy to find the information I needed while I shopped.

Sonarworks is great! It is so much easier to hear what my sound is doing and what the effect of any changes is! Absolutely great. It was easy to set up and works with both my monitors and headphones.

Loving it. I bought SoundID Reference Studio including Measurement Microphone. It's like day and night. Both when using the speakers and the headphones.

I find this software very helpful. I initially installed it in a completely untreated mixing room. Using the reference mic, SoundID was able to show me how poor the frequency response of the room truly was. An EQ curve was created to flatten the frequencies, and I must say that this works very well. I could hear an immediate and obvious increase in clarity. I'm going on to add proper treatment to my mix room, but still expect to use SoundID to further correct the room, just from a better starting point. In addition to this, the ability to emulate different playback systems in software is quite valuable. This allows you to quickly reference your mix in a lot of different playback situations. I have never seen a faster or easier way to do this.

Honestly, any DIY or home studio producer should try this out. It's going to save me a lot of headaches knowing my room is treated.
