Love the software and measurement mic. Bridges the gap between professionally treated rooms and a less-than-ideal space! Also, I really enjoy the headphone curves and mix check tools.

Sonarworks SoundID Reference is an excellent software tool for professional audio engineers, musicians, and producers looking to optimize the sound of their speakers and headphones. The software comes with a measuring microphone that allows users to create a personalized calibration profile for their specific audio setup, which can then be applied to any audio source, resulting in a more accurate and consistent listening experience. The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, and the software provides a wide range of customization options to tailor the sound to your preferences. The software supports a vast array of headphones and speakers, making it a versatile tool for a variety of audio applications. Moreover, I think the price of each SoundID edition is worth the price. (PS, I got SoundID Reference for Headphones and Speakers with measuring microphone. Overall, Sonarworks SoundID Reference is an excellent investment for anyone serious about achieving the best possible sound from their audio equipment. It's simple to use, effective, and can significantly improve the accuracy of your audio monitoring, making it easier to produce high-quality audio content.

The whole experience has been very intuitive and easy to set up from purchasing the product to calibrating my speakers, and it really helped! My mixes translate better. Only complaint I have is that I had no idea I would only get one activation license for the education edition until I went to check out, and no option to buy just one more license at a reasonable price (not like buying the whole product again)

Due to the shape and size of my home studio I have no option but to have my main mixing speakers far too close to a rear wall which has been giving them a false bass response around the 100Hz mark. Sonarworks not only flattened out this peak but almost magically seemed to make the speakers ‘disappear’ leaving me with a perfectly flat reference eq and razor sharp imaging across the whole spectrum. The consistency between my Adam mixing speakers, my Beyer headphones and the PMCs I use in a different room for mastering is remarkable. I have worked professionally in film and theatre sound for almost forty years and am Emeritus Professor of Sound at the Universoty of London’s Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sonarworks to anyone, whether in a home or professional studio.
