“Some time ago I was at friend's home studio, an attic with sloping ceilings. His monitors sounded remarkably good despite challenging acoustic conditions. I noticed the SoundID plugin and, upon his recommendation, discovered it to be the best money spent on software. I borrowed an Audix TM1 testing mic and downloaded the SoundID trial – the results were impressive, prompting me to purchase it on a Black Friday deal. I even received my own Sonarworks Microphone from Santa .
A tip for drum mixing: disable the plugin or use zero-latency mode to avoid artifacts. I highly recommend it to everyone; you can even check the trial to hear the results. I made a couple of measurements, as the first time I did it the wrong way, but the results were excellent nonetheless.”
“recomened! nice app for win and osx very stable, its a marvellous! hear music or production music its a another level! you must this app in the studio yes or yes”
“Great software, my mix results are much better since i installed it. Only sometimes it crashed, and i had to restart the software, but all over all i can really recommend it to everybody who ist producing.”
“I found out about the software as I was researching how to optimise the sound of the listening area in rooms that are not suited for producing a good sound on their own. Sound ID Reference is great for creating that sweet listening spot in front of the studio monitors. The software is very easy to use.”
“Sonarworks SoundID does exactly what you need it to, with no needless complications or unnecessary nonsense. Given that it's 2023 (at the time of writing), that's no mean feat. In a world of superfluous marketing spiel and overhyped mediocrity, it is immeasurably valuable to have a product that just does the thing you need it to with an easy and intuitive user interface.”
