“Hi. After a good acoustic treatment of my room, i bought SoundID Reference for my speakers in order to calibrate them. I am so glad of the result. With the acoustic treatment and this calibration, my system works so much better for creation, mixing and audio comfort.
With a RME Fireface UFX 2, i can put the clibration on Total Mix Room Eq and the RME DSP does the job for no latency charges on my computer.
I recommend this solution, with a good acoustic treatment !”
“I achieve significantly better results with calibration and proper acoustic treatment. It's a pleasure to turn on the software for both mixing and mastering, as well as simply enjoying music.”
“Since I use SoundID reference I don’t need to check my mixes in the car anymore. It translates perfectly to any system. Although you can bug a dedicated measurement mic I used my own Beyer Dynamic mm1 but only because I had the calibraton file. Otherwise a sonarworks measurement mic seems like a great value for money piece of gear.”
“In short, I have found SoundID to put a professional tool in my hands; to ease my anxiety about monitoring; and elevate the sound quality of my work.
Since I've been using it, I have enjoyed a seamless switching between workspaces in particular. Thanks for such a great product.”
“My first impressions are great. I do have to "re-learn" listening with this on, in the sense that I'm so used to mixing with my old setup and have learned to compenaste for its flaws. I think this will be imensely helpfull, especially in sending mixes to clients. By also listening to the references through the plugin it should be much easier to analyze what works and what doesnt and I'm confident my mixes will translate better and have less revisions.”
“I m not very impressed about sound Id
The process is easy but I think something turning wrong when I use it with my quested 2108 … I ve lost some deep and details
But I think for little home studio with first price speaker it will be a good thing”
