Hi Steve, Thank you for your review! After a lot of valued customer feedback, we recently upgraded the design of our Vintage Leather wallets. Our customers let us know that the 'wallet' part of the folding cover of the cases was not that easy to use due to it closing flat over the phone. Therefore we upgraded our design to be a little wider in order for the 'wallet' part of your case to be used more efficiently. Meaning, the folding cover of the wallet can be used immediately and close properly as it's now a bit wider and even though it seems bulky now as the leather softens over time, we found with testing that we did of our prototypes, that the spine of the leather will soften and hug your phone perfectly. “The quality of the product is very good. My feedback is specific to my needs and may not apply to others. I find the texture of the Nubuck Leather very rough, more like Suede to the touch and it collects dirt & grease very easily, requiring constant cleaning. The Credit Card Slots are very narrow, preventing the use of RFID Blocking sleeves around those credit cards, which, as the case is not RFID Blocking, is far from ideal. The flexible case that holds the iPhone is shallow and does not rise above the screen. This means any screen protector is exposed at the edge and provide reduced cushioning. Lastly, the locking flap is very short, meaning if you put in 3 cards and too many banknotes in the pocket it will struggle for the magnet lock to remain shut. NB I have bought cases from this site for my partner and the leather was antiqued but smooth (my preference) & better fitting for her Samsung Phone.”

Hi there, Thank you very much for your purchase and for leaving a review! As all of our cases are handmade and hand-dyed using different cuts of natural leather, the finish of each of our cases will vary. Our Black, Navy, Bottle Green & Grey colours may have a softer, suede-like finish, whereas our Chestnut Brown, Teal & Plum colours tend to have a glossier, smoother finish. Your new Vintage Leather Wallet is hand-crafted from genuine nubuck leather, and like all good leather products, it will take a little bit of time and use for the leather to stretch. Please be assured that this is totally to be expected for a new leather product. The leather & magnetic clasp will begin to stretch & soften over a short amount of time and with regular use so that you can use the card & cash slots fully functionally and also close the case with ease. We would recommend placing a card into each card slot which will allow the leather to stretch & use the case as you normally would. You should then find that very shortly you will no longer be experiencing this, however if you have any further enquiries please don't hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to assist you further. 😊 We currently do not offer RFID protection with our phone cases, however this is something that we are looking into for future models. Please do keep an eye out on the website for any new product releases. As explained on our website, we're unable to 100% guarantee that our newest range of Vintage Leather Wallets will be compatible with wireless charging due to the robust, quality leather we use to make this case; as well as our new & improved black inner phone holder which offers excellent protection for your device! We can't recommend a specific brand of wireless charger that will work in conjunction with this case, however we'd suggest using a charger can reach through at least 4-5mm of thickness, and that you are using a wireless charger with a 20W or greater USB-C Power Adapter. For peace of mind, all of our cases have the appropriate cut-outs so that you can charge using a charging cord. “My order and delivery went very smoothly. However, the vintage leather wallet became very marked within a couple of days. I love things that look authentic and old and the description suggested it would wear over time but the reality for me was that it just looked marked and I was disappointed with that.”

“Love this product, bought a different brand but the magnetic clip is better on this one, as is the leather card holder sections inside, they don't stretch like cheaper cases do and so you lose cards! Only thing that niggles slightly is the black/dark cover colours your fingers/hands for a while at first, a bit like wearing new dark denim!”
