“I didn't realise that it would be matt, ie not polished leather. It is at the moment quite stiff though perhaps it will soften as time goes by. Otherwise, I like the colour and it is well made.”

Were thrilled to hear that you are impressed with the colour and quality of the case however, we're sorry to hear that you are not happy with the finish of your case! Our Vintage Leather Wallet cases are made from a soft Nubuck leather, which can sometimes be similar to suede at first, and especially when new they will naturally show marks which will add to the character. Over time and with regular use, the top layer of leather will begin to wear down and the case will develop a rich & smooth patina finish, much like polished leather. Wear on each of our cases will vary depending on its use, which will add to the unique character of your case. Like all good leather products, it will take a little bit of time and use for your new leather case to stretch. Please be assured that this is totally to be expected for a new leather product. The leather & magnetic clasp will begin to stretch & soften over a short amount of time and with regular use so that you can use the card & cash slots fully functionally and also close the case with ease. “I love this case It feels nice in my hand and the slots for credit cards are just right Also it doesn’t mark easily -I’ve put it down on the kitchen counter several times and just wiped off the stains with a damp cloth”
