My main reason for leaving this positive review is because of superb service from Smyths. Item dispatched the day I placed the order via 2nd class post at the exorbitant cost of a pound!!! Item arrived 3 days after order placement. Excellent service that I would recommend and I WILL be using Smyths again.

“I decided to use Smyths to purchase my Barbour Gilet having reviewed the website. Despite not being the cheapest option (albeit some retailers were £10 less) my selection has left me very satisfied.
The jacket quality was as expected from a known and trusted brand, the differentiator came in the service. A 2 day delivery was faster than expected and my purchase was accompanied by a personalised handwritten note.
This is a fine example of “old-fashioned” - but much needed and missed - service from an independent retailer.

“Hard to believe the speed of delivery ordered Friday 23.30 received confirmation of order on its way 23.40 sent first class delivery. My order was waiting for me on return from work Monday. My only criticism would be the lack of sizing information on the web site as I could not find any. So I had to check other web sites to aid my size decision. I am 5ft 7 with a 42 in chest so I ordered a medium in the jumper and it feels big and the sleeves are long, have to turn them up, so I possibly may have been better off ordering a small. But this the one problem with order online you can not try things on. But very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend.
