“Great picture. Beware if you connect a 1st gen Sonos sound bar with an optical output to the TV only as the remote will not control the volume through the sound bar unless you disable blue tooth on the TV. If you follow this route you will not be able to use the voice activation on the remote which is excellent. If you dispense with the external sound bar you will get a sound that many people like but I much prefer the sound from the external speakers. Frustratingly, my expectation from the initial advertising was that catch up channels would be included on the TV. On delivery, this was not available and Sony will not give a date for the software update to be delivered which his totally unacceptable. Delivery of the set was delayed by several months but that seems to be the same with many items at the moment. Once the above problems are resolved and I get over the poor communications by Sony versus the high cost of the TV, I expect to be able to recommend this product.”
