“I had already purchased a Sonos Beam Gen 2 from Smart Home Sounds back in November. Whilst being happy with how well the Beam had integrated into my setup, I felt like it would be enhanced with a standalone subwoofer. I chose the Sub Mini after watching the reviews and I'm very impressed! I wanted a sub that could be used for the children watching TV, to music whilst I work to watching films, all at different volumes and without upsetting sleeping children or the neighbours. I'm impressed with how the bass is for me, just right. Like the Beam, it's just integrated into the setup, I don't have to constantly tinker with the settings to just the balance right despite the wide range of usage it has to cope with. I prefer to hard wire things where possible so both the Beam and Sub Mini are connected via Ethernet. This is just a preference thing to keep the Wi-Fi free for other devices. The app had no issue recognising the new device and it paired up with the Beam straight away. Sound-wise it offers tight, punchy bass that has a natural feel to it. Music playback is where I have noticed the biggest uplift in sound quality, I'm now relistening to my favourite albums just to hear them on the new setup. Credit to the Smart Home Team for an efficient service as always.”

“As a long time Sonos user who owns products various Sonos products , I held off from initially buying the Sub-Mini but I must admit after spring with a Beam Gen 2 I’m quietly impressed by the overall sound Ann’s how it makes the Beam Gen2 come to life. I have Sonos Sun Gen2 and while that rumbles the foundation when watching movies this is more a precise bass sound with less sub bass which for most size rooms is more than sufficient. I would recommend this to anyone, even in a larger space as it looks the part and delivers a quality sound.”
