“This was a wanted Birthday gift, and excellent addition to my Sonos kit. Works really well in the home an especially in the bathroom - No worries as its also water proof. The sound is excellent and very basey too, which I prefer. The set up was easy although I did have a few issues getting the speaker to connect via Bluetooth from wifi automatically, once the devices are recognised its perfect. I considered a new Bose with the the dock but this is by far the best after having both.”

“Great addition to my Sonos system! Got the roam to go in my kitchen for when I’m cooking and can easily be taken outside with me when in the garden. Great sound as expected from Sonos and it’s nice having Alexa. Being on standby does drain the battery quicker than expected but it can be turned off at the power button on the back. As always great service from smart home sounds, the best place to buy sonos products!”

“Firstly, a word about Smart Home Sounds, this is my fourth purchase from them & the service has always been 1st class. You can buy the Roam for the same price wherever you chose to purchase, however, with these guys you get free next day delivery & the bonus of a six year warranty. This just goes to show the faith they have in the Sonos brand. So the Roam, I bought it primarily so I could play my music while I renovate rooms in my house and also for use in the bathroom. Set up & integration with my Sonos system was simple & quick. Battery life appears good if you don't leave it on standby, and charging from the USB connection in the side of my sofa gives a speedy & full charge (I've no idea of the power rating). I've tested the connection via WiFi, Bluetooth & Apple Airplay and all have worked seamlessly. It's reassuringly heavy and robust for its size, the sound whilst obviously not on a par with, say a Play One, is much better than I expected. I think it's a great addition to the Sonos family.”

“Recently purchased the Sonos Roam to add to the sound system in my extension and the Sonos One SL in the kitchen. I wanted a speaker that could be easily moved around upstairs, but which also produced great sounding music. I believe the Sonos Roam achieves both. The speaker is light, inconspicuous, stylish and and I can now pretty much listen to the same music wherever I am in the house.”
