“Great item at the best price I could find. Just what I wanted! Wasn't the easiest to set up due to basic instructions but could have been worse. My TV is a few years old so I didn't have the issue with the connection that others state...I think I would have returned it if I'd been unable to link it to the TV.”

“The sound sometimes seems to be coming from a different place to the picture. Not as intuitive as the Beam we already have on another TV so not sure if recommend this cheaper option.”

“Reviews of the Sonos Ray were mixed with a number of people noting the lack of HDMI, Atmos support etc. However, a couple of weeks into listening and the unit is great value for money and provides a huge boost to typical TV sound. Issues noted previously in respect of bass have been resolved with a lovely deep rumble when watching the most recent Star Wars film. No grumbles at all so far and would definitely recommend.”

“I have used Smart Home Sounds for the last couple of Sonos purchases. They are excellent in all they do from advice about what to purchase through to technical advice on setting up to connection issues. I would highly recommend this company for all Sonos purchases. I bought a Sonos Ray recently at an exceptionally good price through SHS. I watched their YouTube review of the product and because of that chose the Ray over the Beam, I now have both. The set up is easy and the sound quality is as good as all Sonos devices so very please with what I chose. The quality of the Ray is excellent and like all Sonos speakers very pleasing on the eye and blends in so you don’t really notice it whilst watching the TV. Playing music through it is a delight as it’s as good if not better thank a One. Overall very pleased with my purchase.”

“I think I have a problem! Hi Im Richard and I am a Sonos addict. I fell off the waggon again and had to get the Sonos Ray for our new bedroom picture frame tv, it was great but I missed the sound quality that my Beam gives me in the living room, needless to say, the Ray does not disappoint, its ability to fill the room and with the true sound feature it still manages to amaze me just how much power you get out of the box even on low volume for night watching its quality is whisper in the ear creepy and when you want to crank it, its there too. This won't be my last relapse, I am just running out of rooms to put them. Sonos Shower anyone?”
