“The turntable is a good standard for this price, though I was a little disappointed in the finish compared to one I bought 20 years ago. Set up proved easy and aside from the very basic cartridge I am happy with my purchase.”

“This is an excellent turntable. After watching and reading lots of reviews I decided to buy this because it is a great sounding turntable for the price, but also as it is hand-built in the UK by a company that seems to take quality seriously. I like the fact that it is completely manual and that you have to get up and lift the needle on and off the record. I know that this is supposed to improve the sound quality, but this also makes you sit and listen to the whole record. There is an on/off switch and that is it. It sounds great. I know the Carbon cartridge could be upgraded, but it sounds very good to me. Maybe I will upgrade it in the future. I have no complaints about how it plays my records. However, I was surprised to see that the belt seemed to be stretched and distorted. It still worked, but it should have not been like this. I emailed Smart Home Sounds, who replied quickly and asked for a photograph, which I sent them. They sent this to Rega, who replied just as quickly to say that they would send me a new belt. It arrived the next day. For this reason, it keeps its five stars. I was really impressed by the response of both Smart Home Sounds and Rega.”

The finest customer services. I had an issue to connect the turntable to the speaker and amplifier and Tom went an extra mile to send me a map to show me how the connection should be”
