“Easy way to extend Sonos whole house system via a an old but good amp. Easy to install and operate, does the job I expected it to. Also looking to use it to feed from a DAB back out to other Sonos devices, but not tried that yet.”

“I was looking at the Sonos 5 as well but I went for the Sonos port system as I don’t have the room for the 5 system. The port is compact and looks good .”

“The Port is easy to set up. I used the port with a turntable connected to access my existing Sonos set up. Sounds good. Nice to be able to send the music to different speakers in my system.”

“This product is a complete disaster. It is appallingly badly designed. Despite multiple attempts, I have been unable to set it up. Like the product I have bought it to replace, my Sonos Connect, it requires an immediate update which simply will not complete, rendering it useless. I will be seeking an immediate refund and will be urging colleagues and friends to avoid Sonos at all costs.”

“I was dubious about getting the Sonos Port. I thought it might be updated very soon, I should wait and have also heard reviews saying the sound isn't good. (digital out / variable volume). I shouldn't have been worried. It is perfect for what I want. I love the Sonos app for choosing music and can send music to any Sonos speaker in the house, apart from the man cave, which has a traditional amp, stereo speakers and sub. The Port works perfectly on analogue out on fixed volume, adjusting volume on the amp. My Kef speakers and Rel sub sound much better than the pair of Fives and Sub I used to have. I can play the same music in every room now, in perfect sync.”
