“We had a wonderful stay here for mums 80th birthday. The house is set in beautiful gardens and the views are amazing. The house is so well equipt and has everything you could need. The kitchen has so much crockery and cutlery as well as serving dishes and bowls, and plenty of different glasses too! The bedrooms are huge! beds are to die for and the bedding is crisp white cotton! we had a balcony and views over the gardens. En-suites are clean and also huge! The games room was essential for us too and to watch the football while playing pool and having a beer ticked a lot of boxes with our family. The downstairs bedroom was a bonus for us as my mum had mobility issues so was great. The pool was really lovely and be it initially a bit cold we soon adjusted and this is where we spent a lot of our time. The hot tub room was really lovely and I was pleased it could be locked off so made it safe for our younger members who asked constantly to go in it! We really liked that there was a separate dining area where we could all easily sit together to eat and socialise. The living room had 4 huge sofas which you could literally sleep on as they were so big. The room was huge and there was plenty of room for dancing! We made an Asda delivery order which was really easy and had the majority of the food delivered to the house once we had arrived. This saved so much hassle and time. All in all, the house was everything we wanted and was a perfect place to stay. We had brilliant weather so did not leave apart to pop in to Wellington for a top-up shop.”

“The heating did not come on, had to call Helen, to help us talk through the process of switching on the heating. It would have been nice to have an open fireplace, would make the lounge more cosy.”

“The house was great but still needs some finishing touches (appreciate it has only just been redecorated but some of the rooms weren't as good as others. I would also swop the games room and the dining around as the room currently used for the games room would work better as the Dining room (the current dining room echoes too much due to the floor and no soft furnishings) . Overall really enjoyed our stay. Thanks.”
