“Great house but if things go wrong during your stay don’t have high expectations. The facilities advertised were not all useable. Unable to use one bedroom as the underfloor heating did not work even though we had paid in the price charged for the use of this room. We were told to wait 6/8 hours for it to warm up but it didn’t so my 83 year old mum had to move to another room. (One of our party couldn’t come which was why we had a spare bedroom). Owners advised they could have provided blankets and the house is well insulated visit was March so it was not warm! B&O speakers not working advised to turn on/off to reset that didn’t work (they worked in the garden but not inside) advised to use portable speaker and move it around. Spa bath in the large bedroom was awaiting a part and unavailable which we were advised on arrival. Staff arrive at 9.30am on departure day (departure is 10am), there is no road parking so the staff park in house grounds whilst you are loading luggage into cars – the staff are at this point in a room overlooking the parking area and it feels uncomfortable and unnecessary. We choose our rentals based on customer reviews and think it only fair to provide this feedback. We brought this to the Owners attention during our stay but they made little effort and sent no one over to fix anything. When we wrote to the Owners after our stay they apologised but offered us nothing in compensation for the inconveniences. Their view is that you are charged on renting the entire property not individual rooms and they were sorry for issues experienced which were not remedied until after we left. If you are happy to pay for everything to be in working order and useable as advertised on the website then go for this beautiful house but bear in mind that you may have issues that are not resolved during your stay.”

“I took my family for a short break to Hamble House for some relaxation and change of scenery. We were not disappointed, in fact was so pleased to see what photos and reviews were said about the property were exactly what we saw and stayed in . So homely , spacious, plenty to do inside for my family the only disappointment was the weather as we couldn't enjoy the outdoor areas. From the host to the hamper that was left all very kind and welcomed.Stunning !”

“I rented this property to get our family, living in different locations, together to celebrate my wife's 'special' birthday. With 5 grandchildren we wanted a pool they could play in and enough space for all 11 of us to be able to socialise and also relax. Hamble House did not disappoint. The quality of the property is superb and our stay was enhanced by being able to use private caterers for a celebration dinner for the adults while the children enjoyed a pizza and movie night on the big screen smart TV. Bearing in mind this was a winter visit we were never short of things to do - a summer visit must be brilliant given the outdoor space and barbeque areas. From my initial enquiry Sleeps 12 were always professional and helpful with en excellent online information and billing service. It was a memorable weekend - thank you.”

“I have fully appreciated the manner in which Sleeps12 conducts its business. Prompt response to any queries, very informative throughout the process from booking to post stay. All Sleeps12 staff who were involved with my booking gave me quick and confident response. The property was absolutely incredible and more than delivered on the wow factor !! Ailsa the Manager of the property complex was absolutely first class. Every aspect of the property was 1st class. We had an amazing stay there.”
