“Good place for extended family gathering. But some disappointments: very smelly drains, some kitchen equipment inadequate (eg no scissors), croquet lawn advertised but no croquet set (and no other games apart from pool), no literature about local attractions, ruling re hot tub should be advisory (parents should be responsible for their children, not the owners). Value for money? Expensive for eight adults and seven children (several rooms unavailable and perhaps should not be charged for). We enjoyed it, and the layout of kitchen and bar worked well, and the garden was pretty.”

“Very clean and well kept. Bedrooms and en suite facilities were excellent. Kitchen was well designed and stocked with equipment. Lounge area a bit "gloomy". Maybe all lights turned on would help, or some different lightning arrangement. . Generally everything was to a very high standard. Great to have a safe enclosed garden for the children and a sheltered outside sitting area. Hot tub was popular. A second TV in the room with the pool table would have been welcome. Felt slightly isolated from the Town and nearest pubs. Walked on footpaths to The George in Wooley and the Ham Tree in Holt, but bit far for "locals".”

“Good layout to house with excellent entertaining and dining facilities. Kitchen also very well equipped. However, the mattresses were very soft and lumpy and very tired and not appropriate for this price of house. Also, the main road is quite noisy and some of the bedrooms look out onto this.”

“The garden is particularly lovely at the property. The owner is very helpful and on hand. Unfortunately the fridge was dirty when we arrived so had to clean and the decor is a little tired, paintwork which is unusual for a sleep12 property.”

“We had a wonderful time at The Plough. All your information and updates were regular and Kept us up to date especially in these uncertain times. Never had a problems when I needed to ring you always polite and helpful. Security deposit refunded promptly. We will be using you again in the future. Thank you very much.”

“Well equipped house. Kitchen had everything you needed (apart from scissors). We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the property. Bedding was luxury and the beds were so comfortable!”
