Beautiful house & garden- we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Just a few missing details that would have made it even better: - kitchen isn’t really set up for dinner parties- it’s in need or much more serve ware. No salad bowl, tongs, decent serving spoons, sharp knives, no ice buckets (we had to order our own from Amazon and get next day delivery to the house) - no oven gloves! I burnt my hand pretty badly attempting to recover food from the oven with tea towels - we were very fortunate with the weather, but struggled in the south facing garden with no parasols- not even one with the outdoor dining table - no garden lounge furniture- for the price, would have expected something other than plastic dining chairs that we had to move from the pool. If you’re going, I’d recommend taking your own deck chairs and picnic blankets so that you can fully enjoy the beautiful garden. - not enough plug sockets in the bedrooms. Our room only had one double socket behind the bed, which fed the bedside lamps- so there was nowhere to charge phones or plug in a hairdryer- I ended up having to dry my hair on the landing! An extension cable in each room would be an easy fix for this.

Loved the layout of the house and it was very comfortable. Children loved the pool and the garden and spent a lot of time in both.

The property was very well stocked and had beautiful gardens, the only thing that would have improved our stay was if the indoor heated pool was warmer but it was still a great facility that we made good use of.

The house was lovely but needs a little TLC, the pool was a bit cold but Jake was great and tried everything he could to warm it, we still got enjoyment out of it so was not a big deal. Overall we all really enjoyed it and would definitely go back.

Great property, great grounds, good swimming pool, if you’re going to relax then this is a lovely place! The TVs downstairs have Sky, Nextflix etc. Great BBQ unit outside. Brilliant place to unwind.

The house was amazing, so much space and really well kept. Very clean and tidy. The showers were excellent, really powerful. There was also plenty of cutlery and crockery for us all. We wanted a BBQ one day and there wasn't enough gas so I called Jake and he got a new bottle to us within a couple of days, he was more than happy to help. The heating in the lounge wasn't on and it was cold in that room at night so we were unable to use it. The heating seemed to come on during the day and then go off at night when you needed it more. The toilet in the master bedroom didn't flush properly but it didn't affect our stay. Just thought you should know. I would defiantly recommend this house.

The house works beautifully for our group of 4 adults and 2 children in 3 bedrooms. Our return visit proved just as enjoyable as our August one. It was warm and inviting with Christmas tree and other bits. Jake the owner was as usual very approachable for telephone/text queries to help us find how things worked in winter. We look forward to returning next July. Super break. Just in time before Tier 3.
