“The Hamel Vegan Aqua Glow Sun Serum has honestly been such a nice find! I love that it’s a hybrid between a sunscreen and a serum because it feels so much lighter than your typical SPF. It glides on smoothly, absorbs fast, and doesn’t leave any white cast, which is a huge win in my book. Plus, it has this lovely, dewy finish that makes my skin look instantly fresh and glowing—like I’ve just applied a highlighter. I also appreciate that it’s vegan and cruelty-free, and it doesn’t cause any irritation or stinging, even around my eyes. I feel like it’s a great choice for sensitive skin and for people looking for sun protection that doesn’t feel or smell like sunscreen. If I had to pick one downside, I’d say it might not be ideal for super oily skin, as the dewy finish can come off looking a bit shiny if your skin is already on the oilier side. And since it’s more of a serum texture, it may need to be layered with additional SPF for full outdoor protection, especially if you’re out in the sun a lot. That said, for everyday wear or layering under makeup, I think it’s a fantastic option.”

“I really like this sunscreen. It’s quite a liquidy formulation but it melts really well into the skin. I like that it also doesn’t pill under my makeup. I’m interested in trying the other one too.”

This sun serum can be worn under makeup without leaving the skin feeling greasy or heavy. It contains Red Camellia which gives this sunscreen a natural pink hue. It's formulated with only the highest quality ingredients for hydrating and brightening benefits. Its claims to prevent the formation of fine lines and wrinkles and soothes and calms blemish prone skin. Free of animal-by-products, mineral oil, polyacrylamide, PEG surfactants, synthetic pigments, fragrance, parabens and talcum. Dermatology tested. MY EXPERIENCE: This is a lovely option for people who like a dewy finish ( me!) and don't want any fragrance or white cast. I love the packaging, it's unique and definitely eye-catching and so easy to pop in your bag with no fear of leakage. Because the sunscreen is a liquid it's still very easy to dispense. Some liquid sunscreens can feel drying but Hamel's doesn't. It has a very lightweight, almost watery texture and as said, a dewy finish. If you don't like a dewy finish you can always dust off with a powder if you prefer a matte look. It's also a chemical sunscreen whereas I prefer the a broad spectrum one or mineral sunscreen as I have sensitive skin, but this one caused no irritation at all. Overall Tlike this sunscreen for on the go and can't wait to try their cream formula one too!”
