Powered by natural hanbang (traditional Korean herbal medicine) ingredients, the balm also offers a variety of benefits that go beyond just cleansing. Nutrient-rich rice water and fermented grains help skin retain moisture and offer brightening benefits. “My go to cleanser . It’s really gentle and is great at getting off my SPF ,make up and eye make up as well . Easily washes off and doesn’t sit on the skin like a lot of other oil cleansers.”

“It is a real treat to use this cleaning balm! It melts into an oil on contact with your skin, emulsifies well with wet hands and rinses with minimal residue left behind. I have yet to try it to remove makeup as I don’t wear makeup on a day to day basis, but I can imagine it would work really well. It’s super gentle and has no scent, which is a relief for those of us who don’t think everything under the sun has to be perfumed in some way. I love using it in the evening! The tub is generous and includes a scooping applicator so you don’t have to use your finger to scoop out product if you prefer not to.”

“The texture of this cleansing balm is beautiful, it melts on contact with the skin and becomes more like an oil than a solid balm. It emulsifies well from wet hands and rinses off leaving behind very minimal residue. You need a foam cleanser to finish the job as a second step (it being double cleansing). It’s gentle, doesn’t have a scent (thank you! Tired of everything smelling of something these days and there being fragrance in everything), and is a very good introduction to two-step Korean cleansing! Love it”

“Good, affordable cleansing balm. Best for winter times as it turns into an oily solution upon application. Cleans well and removes sunscreen easily.”

“This is probably my 3rd cleansing balm! This has been amazing in getting rid of my makeup and the applicator is really helpful if you don’t want to contaminate it. I just love the BoJ products in general!”
