“I have suffered from appalling acne since I started college around 18. This is quite late to still be getting hormonal acne so I was naturally very embarrassed and I began to feel depressed. I'd tried so many different things and got prescription medication from my doctor, all of which produced very limited results. “I am writing this review at 2 weeks in using the serum morning and night and I am very unsure on this product. I'm 25 and as of last year started suffering from what I would say mild adult acne mainly on my chin area I was put on doxy***line which just left me mainly with marks from the old spots and did seem to prevent break outs , as you can only take this for 6 months my acne has now gone from mild to moderate and has moved to my cheek areas and away from my chin apart from around my period I do not get any spots on my forehead My spots are not cystic and do not usually cause me any pain but they are under the skin and do not ever Come to a head and stay for weeks on end. i will not leave the house without fondation and am starting to feel very depressed. I saw the article on the daily mail for silver serum and thought let's give it ago although I was and still am very unsure. The first few days my skin seemed to be calming down and less red, however It now seems to be getting worse my right cheek is covered in spots there not huge more like little under the skin ones but there is a lot of them and I've had a few painful big ones on my left cheek. I have also noticed that although many ppl said this doesn't make their skin oily it seems to be making mine quite oily. I am also using this in conjunction with the lumie clear acne light once a day for 30 mins on each cheek although I've not even competed the first week yet with reccomended use 12 weeks. I have completely stopped any pills and gels from the doctor as I believe they are not long term solutions. I have seen many ppl say this cleared there skin after even a weeks use this has certainly not happened to me. Most acne clearing products say it can get worse before better so I am going to be patient and try this serum for another 4 weeks as by then I should surely see an improvement. Keeping my fingers crossed !”
