“Great products, the balm in particular has a lovely texture. They are extremely effective at controlling my husband's cold sore flare ups.
Would love to see a multi-pack offer for better economy, and also a really intense, super-strong product, too!”
“I got the tingle on a Monday morning. Luckily I had a Lip Q lip gel that I had bought previously in case I needed it. I started using it 4 or 5 times a day and also used an ice cube wrapped in a cloth 3 or 4 times a day, for 3 days. It started to blister after a couple of days, but it did not become big and ugly as it used to previously. It seemed to start drying to a scab on the 4th day. Not a very nice scab on Saturday, but by Tuesday it was much less and scab came off on Wednesday. Total time was 10 days from tingle to scab coming off. This was much shorter time than usual. Also the cold sore did not become angry and big. I now use the balm morning and evening, and keep the gel for 'if' I get a cold sore. Really pleased, as I have tried so many things and this seems to be very effective”
“I have been using the lipbalm daily for over a year, and if a cold sore tingle occurs it is soon dealt with by the lip balm. If the cold sore progresses, then it does not develop completely and never crusts over or bleeds which is a great improvement on the over the counter creams from the chemists.
I have not used the lip gel yet, but I hope that is works it's magic too, when I have the next attack.”
“i have used the liquorice balm regularly for some time now, though i have still had a few cold sores recently. i do find it goes greasy in the hot weather if i keep it in my handbag and then tastes like castor oil. i haven’t tried the lip gel yet so can’t comment on that.”
