“I purchased the dry eye serum and concealer bundle after reading other reviews. I was a bit sceptical about how good the product would be as I’ve tried a variety of creams for sensitive skin around the eyes. I have very dry, red, flaky skin around eyes, particularly along the lash line of both eyelids. I’ve always had slightly sensitive skin but this has got noticeably worse around my eyes in the last couple of years- I am guessing it’s age/hormone related. I was pleasantly surprised about how good the serum is. There was no stinging on application and I noticed immediate improvement the next day. The dryness and redness hasn’t gone away completely, but this product definitely helps. The concealer also doesn’t irritate and provides a light cover. It’s fine for my skin tone but will be too light for some- a range of tones would benefit more people.”

After months of suffering with a mysterious eczema round my eyes which was very bad at times, this cream practically cleared it overnight. I still use it twice daily to ensure it doesn’t come back. No other cream helped and if anything they made it worse! The concealer is also great. It offers a light coverage but does not irritate the eye area.”

“Having suffered from dry, inflamed itchy and sore eyelids for 3 or 4 months I am pleased with the relief Hydrosil Gel has given me. I suffer from rosacea, blepharitis and very reactive skin, but have never experienced problems with the skin on the eyelid splitting and dry cracks at the corners of both eyes. I sought advice from my optician and local pharmacist who thought, as I did it was due to an allergic reaction - possibly airborne. I am a retired nurse and did not want to use steroid-based creams on the delicate eye area. I changed a variety of beauty products to hypoallergenic which has helped too. The cooling effect of the Hydrosil has dramatically reduced the redness and cracked skin. I still have some redness at the corner of both eyes but will persevere with the gel. The concealer does a good job of covering any redness, I only use it in the corner of each eye very sparingly - a little goes a long way.”
“The gel did nothing to relieve the dryness around my eye area. In fact, it stung when I applied it. The concealer cream was too pale a colour and had no longlasting effect. Would not recommend.”
“Hydrosil Eye Gel is pure magic! I've suffered for over a year with dermatitis (likely menopause-onset) that primarily affected my eyelids. I get flare-ups in which my eyes are red, burning, itching, and raw -- especially in the creases of my wrinkles. The flare-up would last days, and the only thing that provided soothing were petroleum jelly and/or prescription Hydrocortizone. Neither is ideal, for various reasons. I tried Callendula cream, which mostly just burned and intensified the itch, especially initially. I also tried Calamine lotion, which provided relief by dried my skin into leather. I'd been researching for over a year what might be wrong with my skin (other spots on my face and most of my neck would flare up as well), and didn't find a single thing that really matched my symptoms. . . UNTIL. . . I saw an article on Skin Shop's blog: write-ups and photos of four women, all around my age, whose swollen eyelids and neck looked exactly like mine! I decided to give the Hydrosil Eye Care Duo pack for my eyelids and under-eyes, and the Hydrosil Turmeric Butter & Hypoallergenic Milk Salve for my face and neck. I noticed a difference right away -- application did not burn or sting, so that was my first pleasant surprise. I felt soothing within about 10 minutes, and the itch also disappeared. Since that first application, I've used the eye gel and salve twice a day, every day. The worst spots are significantly reduced in redness and irritation, and some of the spots on my face are gone. My skin is soft and moisturized and is really starting to feel much more like its younger self, pre-onset of this awful dermatitis. I'm sold! NOTHING has remedied like these two products have. In fact, I'm about to place my second order for them, and will continue forward with these two products. These are my new facial skin-care regimen. The concealer is really nice too. I don't normally use much concealer or any foundation on my face, but it's nice to have a concealer on hand for days with I need it, that I know will not cause or intensify irritation around my eyes. “I have been suffering from eczema on my eyelids. Very painful and itchy. As soon as I started using the gel it calmed down and was cleared up within a day. This truly is a fabulous product. I shall keep some in now all the time. Concealer is good too. I use as a base before applying eye shadow.”
