“I’ve only used this once so far and I can already tell the difference in my scalp. I have pityriasis amiantacea as a result of psoriasis/seborrehic dermatitis and I have tried numerous things to clear the scale on my scalp. Coal tar shampoo, steroid lotion, olive oil, aloe Vera, coconut oil you name it ive tried it ! The Oregon shampoo and conditioner came highly recommended and already my scalp feels calmer and not as tight and I noticed that the scale felt less bumpy. Can’t wait to see how much it will improve with more frequent use ! The smell of the shampoo is quite strong but I don’t mind it and I’m happy I’ve found something natural that I can use every day.”

“I’ve tried literally every single scalp psoriasis product out there - even my doctor’s prescription shampoo - and nothing worked. I then came across this and the relief from the constant itching is overwhelming. My head is calm and, after just 3 washes, the lumps and scales are disappearing. The condition of my hair is better too. I’m putting coconut oil on my scalp and leaving it on overnight before washing the following morning to help soften the scales but even that wasn’t working with other treatments. The smell of the shampoo is, I think, not great (I would liken it to cigarette smoke) but that’s a small price to pay! And please don’t let the manufacturer change it by adding perfume, as I just don’t want the composition of this stuff to change.”
“Admittedly I’ve only used it once so can’t testify to its efficacy but the smell is really pungent; unlike other reviewers who said their hair didn’t smell once they dried it, mine smells very strongly of coal tar once dried. Will need to wash it with regular shampoo tomorrow.”
